Rachael graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Physiotherapy from UBC in 2005. She received a Certificate of Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2007, and a Gunn IMS diploma from iSTOP in 2012. She pioneered a postpartum pamphlet with Women’s Hospital in 2010, and is trained to used diagnostic ultrasound to assess core muscle function. Although Rachael has pursued many sports from volleyball to fencing, she began studying dance as an adult, and in 2012 completed a grade 6 RAD certificate in ballet. Since then she has enjoyed working with a wide range of dancers and performing artists, which has informed her understanding of motor control. Part of Rachael’s professional training included extensive studying in the Integrated Systems model with Diane Lee, which is a whole body approach. She spent 12 years learning, teacher-assisting international physiotherapists, and in 2017-18 was invited to create and teach her own educational material related to foot training. With the impact of covid-19 in 2020, Rachael transitioned to running her own home physiotherapy practice.
Please note Rachael does not take WCB or ICBC claims, but does direct bill to Pacific Blue Cross and provides receipts for other extended insurance providers.
